Cinderella wears Versace to Harrods

If Cinderella went to the ball today, she could not ask for a better godmother than Donatella Versace. And who better to dress Sleeping Beauty than Elie Saab? This season, Harrods is collaborating with Disney and 10 leading fashion designers to create 21st century glam-gowns for 10 legendary Disney princesses. This enchanting display (at Harrods from November 1) is sure to bring a touch of magic to icy winter evenings as we all sit and dream about what we would be wearing to meet our prince. I have fallen completely and irrevocably in love with the Versace and the Elie Saab ball gowns. What’s your pick? Which is your favourite look from this collection? And which one would you not touch with a barge pole? Do tell!

  1. Sleeping Beauty (Elie Saab) and Ariel (Marchesa) are my favourites. Now if only they would hide my love handles 😉 Lovely post! I can’t wait to see the actual gowns…

    1. Real 21st century princes don’t mind love handles. And if they do, the 21st century princess just bonks them on the head with the glass slipper 😉
