Gucci Guilty Black is not really my kind of fragrance – too oriental for my tastes – but even I can’t help feeling a tad excited by this fantastic short film from Frank Miller, starring Chris Evans and Rachel Evan Wood. It’s a sultry showcase of sex and sensuality, with a little bit of the Twilight feel thrown into the mix, all set against the Strangelove (Guilty Mix) soundtrack by Friendly Fires and Bat for Lashes
. Watch it here and tell me if it’s provocative enough for your tastes?
The fragrance itself will appeal to a consumer who is “…younger and more daring” according to Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini. Consequently, the Gucci Guilty Black women’s fragrance is a creamy and warm oriental floral with red fruits and pink pepper in the top notes, lilac and violet in the heart and patchouli and amber at the base. The men’s version is a fougère that opens with coriander and lavender over a heart of orange flower, neroli and aromatic notes, with a base of patchouli and cedarwood.
