While every one is raving and drooling over Victoria’s Secret $2 million Floral Fantasy Bra that’s encrusted with a zillion stones of the uber-precious kind, all I want is the “little” bottle of perfume that goes with it. And it’s cheap – relatively speaking – while having the added advantage of being perfect for women of all sizes, so you don’t need to have Alessandra Ambrosio’s goddess-like body to carry it off (which means that I don’t need to give up my cupcakes… yay!).
Costing just $500,000 (told you it was cheap!) Bombshell Fantasy is basically the brand’s award-winning Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Eau de Parfum blinged out for the holidays. The mammoth decanter is studded with a treasure trove of white, pink and yellow diamonds, sapphires, tsavorite and rubies along with a 10 carat white diamond and an exquisite, one of a kind, hand carved tourmaline butterfly. The fragrance itself has notes of purple passion fruit, Shangri-la peony and vanilla orchid.
Over 15,000 stones from around the world were inspected to find gems of the perfect coloured, size and shape to create the one of a kind bra, belt and fragrance bottle. These fantasy gifts were inspired by the idea of dreamy fantasy garden filled with vibrant coloured flowers and heavenly Angels.
Oh! And just in case you were wondering how one does justice to such riches, this is what Ms. Ambrosio had to say when Allure asked about her beauty prep for the unveiling: “Usually that’s the area [the décolletage] that we feature the most. So whatever I put on my face, I’ll put it right here on my body. Or I use a body moisturizer there. Every time I shower I have to put on moisturizer or oil. I’m always moisturizing my skin.” Hmmm, that sounds easy enough though I am not convinced that this is all she does, given the sheer awesomeness of her assets – especially post-baby and post-breastfeeding.
